  • We are seeking a nurturing, reliable, and engaging part-time nanny to support a loving family in Palm Harbor with the care of their infant. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who truly enjoys working with babies and values creating a calm, joyful, and developmentally supportive environment.

    The ideal candidate is someone who sees themselves as an extension of the family—bringing warmth, intention, and attentiveness into the home. With a work-from-home parent present, we are looking for a nanny who is confident in taking the lead with infant care while also fostering a peaceful and collaborative dynamic within the household.

    Desired start date: As soon as possible

    Schedule: Three times per week

    Guarenteed: 20 hours per week

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide warm and positive one on one care and a secure environment for child in the absence of parents

    • Plan and actively participate in age appropriate developmental activities for child, including activities that promote physical, emotional, intellectual & social development

    • Actively participate in resolving the child’s problems or interests and serve as a resource for problem solving

    • Comfortable with outdoor play and activities as weather permits 

    • Follow family’s schedule + suggest adjustments for children’s growth

    • Clothe child appropriately

    • Keep child’s rooms and play areas tidy and organized

    • Maintain, clean and care for child’s belongings

    • Experience with infants to five years of age

Experience with infant and toddler care is preferred, along with a gentle, thoughtful approach to development and daily care.

  • Requirements for Long-Term Placements

    To ensure the highest level of care for our families, candidates for long-term placements must meet the following criteria:

    • A minimum of five (5) years of professional nanny experience, or a combination of relevant college education and verifiable non-family references

    • Must be at least 21 years of age

    • Legally authorized to work in the United States

    • Reside within the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas (including St Petersburg, Sarasota, Bradenton)

    • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

    • Fluent in both spoken and written English

    • Demonstrate a genuine love for children and a strong passion for childcare

    • Willing to commit to a minimum of one (1) year with a family

    Requirements for Occasional Care & On-Call Nannies

    To ensure consistent, high-quality care for our families, candidates for occasional and on-call placements must meet the following requirements:

    • A minimum of three (3) years of recent professional childcare experience, or equivalent education with verifiable non-family references

    • Must be at least 18 years of age

    • Legally authorized to work in the United States

    • Provide two to three strong childcare references from previous employers or clients

    • Valid driver’s license preferred, but not required

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Demonstrate a genuine love for children and enthusiasm for supporting families

    • Willing to commit to a minimum of six (6) shifts within the first six months of onboarding

  • Our Screening Process

    • Two to three (2–3) in-depth initial interviews

    • Thorough reference checks

    • Social media screening

    • National criminal background and sex offender registry check

    • Social Security Number (SSN) trace

    • Driving record and address history review

    This multi-step process allows us to carefully evaluate experience, professionalism, and safety before placing a nanny with a family.

  • Compensation

    Compensation varies based on the specific needs of the families we serve and the scope of each available role. For occasional and on-call caregivers, starting compensation begins at $20 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
